It works great with my fine hair which is not as thick as it used to be. Has 2 speeds and 3 temps so it’s very adjustable for hair types. I love it, and it’s so pretty if you need to leave it out on the counter. Only thing I wish it had is a longer cord but all appliances are shortening the cords now . Only 1.55 lbs. Easy to use and handle will collapse for easy traveling! Good for seniors and those who may find it hard to handle a full size and weight of a regular hair dryer 😊 Hope this helps.

No separate filter but the way it's designed looks like you'd have no trouble trapping hair etc and cleaning it out.

Not sure what you mean by "nozzle". The dryer heat and power seem exactly like the standard Conair dryer, just a smaller, lighter body. The open end is the same as the standard model, as is the diffuser. I'm very happy with the item and would recommend it. It worked in London. I didn't travel to Scotland but think as long as you have the proper outlet adapter you should be fine in any country.
