It’s using the latest Phison E12 controller with 3D NAND TLC memory. I bought the 1TB version, and it is very fast. Basically comparable in performance to the Corsair MP510 or MyDigitalSSD BPX Pro, which use the same controller.

I tried it in a usb3 dock and didn't get nearly the performance others get hooking directly to sata. About 80Mbps average write speed backing up to capacity with HD video projects. Started out at around 270Mbps but that only lasted the 1st 20 sec or so. The Cache system works as follows (SLC - Single Layer Cache), (MLC - Multiple Layer Cache), (TLC - Triple Layer Cache), (QLC - Quadruple Layer Cache). SLC is top tier, each successive generation gets slower and slower so stay with the SLC if you can.

Which os and service pack or kernel level are you using, if linux based. also let me know the model of your laptop, onto which its installed.. mine works great on a dell latitude E6320, also crosscheck your ATA/AHCI settings on bios. any cloning utility used..? or fresh installs?

It is supporting Gen3x4 interface, but not supporting PCIe x1. We suggested using the product in Gen3x4 interface to get the best performance. Thank you.
