SA400S37/120G will work fine in the older Toshiba Satellite, although not performing up to the advertised SSD speeds due to host system limitations, nonetheless A400 will outperform original hard disk drive to help enhance the system overall performance. A400 should physically fit the notebook internal drive bay using existing mounting hardware. PC will automatically detect the new SSD upon power up. Fresh install operation system and applications from original installation CD on the SSD as you would on standard disk drives. Thank you!
