And my thought was how comfortable could plastic clogs be? But once I got my first pair, they were amazingly comfortable and not plastic but very comfortable rubber with a bounce to every step similar to shock support. I had to have them in all colors, they were so comfortable going on walks outside. The only con about them, is that they only last 1 summer, because the sole gets eaten thin from the outside ground. It would be wonderful if they made them with a harder lower layer sole on them, so they wouldn't get eaten up by the concrete pavement so fast.. see less I have been a purchaser of croc's, I recall the first time I saw them in the catalog they looked plastic and not too attractive. Answer:
I’d say more towards soft. Comfortable to wear (without a doubt!), and prone to show wear in the heal. (BTW I bought a second pair bc I love them.)

Answer:
I wear an 11W and these had a little give but not sure if theres enough give for an 11 1/2. The back of the shoe can be pushed in to make it more of a clog and you'd have enough room. I'd suggest getting a 12 if avaiable
