Yep just set it on your desk and youre ready to kill everyone in warzone ( in all seriousness plug this into your motherboard pcie x16 slot ) if you have a laptop then yes youll need an external box for it and youll need a thunderbolt usb connector on your laptop also the boxes are a couple hundres bucks

Yes the 1660 is better than the RX 580. Please keep in mind that it is newer so that helps.

Asus is a reputable manufacturer that stands by its products also offers decent technical support.

Yes, that MB supports it. Make sure you have a suitable PSU to power this card. Minimum is 500 wats so if I were you, put in a 650w gold PSU.

Basically yes, it'll use two card slots, you might get by on a mini but not less.

The 1660 will pull less than 120W at full load, so most likely it will work. A Core i7 with M.2/DVD/etc.. should pull less than 250W.
