I'm not sure what particular model the M52BC is, but I have an Asus desktop that's about 8 years old, and it slid right into mine. Just make sure that you keep track of each wire so that you make the connections correctly. One caveat with mine: my desktop has a "ASUS" display on the front of the case that lights up, an…

One caveat with mine: my desktop has a "ASUS" display on the front of the case that lights up, and the old power supply had a dedicated wire to power that display. The new power supply doesn't have a dedicated wire for that, so...no display.

I have had mine for about 3 months now and it is very quiet. I have a Phantek case that has 3 fans in the front and I can hear those but not the power supply.
