The Nu Audio and Nu Audio Pro cards do not have any DTS or Dolby encoder/decoder onboard. NO. It only has Stereo (2) analog outputs (if you are talking about the model called the NU Audio)

I then ran and Hdmi cord from my Video card in to the Receiver or amplifier i then ran another hdmi cord from the Receiver hdmi port MARKED EARC or arc to the monitor or hdtv. ARC or EARC stand for audio return channel or enhanced audio return channel. after that i ran speaker wires to all speakers and Sub woofer then i turned pc and amp on changed to appropriate audio sources on each the amp and pc and i was finished it is Complicated have not been able to find a pc 7.1 speaker system anywhaere made by anyone so i went this route it does sound really really good though and will anger the neighbors lol see less

Hi, It may work OK but to be sure I would go with one of the recommended sound cards listed here:
ASUS Essence STX II 7.1 - 3.5mm to RCA jack converter cables required.

Depends on the cables your going to use. But yes it will with L-R out. Although I don't see why you would do this. As both devices proform the same function. Just one is inside the PC and the other is outside.
