Clicking or using the scroll wheel frequently (gaming or office/writing work) will break it just as soon as amazon's 30 days are up (though no fault of theirs). Many forums back this up. Sad, really, considering the rest of the mouse is well built, but that is a deal breaker for me. I had to trash the mouse. Not worth it until something changes.

Yes. In fact the labeled sniper button makes no sense, the thumb has to be moved to press it. I remapped the sniper button to the button just in front of the thumb. Don't know what to use the big labeled sniper button for. Maybe closing windows? :-) The DPI of sniping is user adjustable.

The software is fine, except that I could not get macros to work. I can create them, but the button it is assigned to does not run the macro.

I'm still using mine only because I've been traveling from home with the laptop, so no reason to fiddle with the desktop yet. But I plan to try a logitech one next. I miss the corsair m65 elite the most. But those have a dying left click mouse button problem. I had a 5 year old one that finally gave up with that same problem. But the newer ones according to amazon reviews seem to go in months...
