Certified Organic

As established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), products contain at least 95% organic ingredients, may not use GMOs, may not use synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, and must meet additional USDA standards.

Non-GMO Project Verified

Products have been approved by a 3rd party to verify they do not contain any GMO (genetically modified organism) seeds or ingredients.

Fair & Responsible Practices

These products incorporate sourcing and production practices that meet social, environmental, and economic standards. These practices including safe working conditions, environmental protection, and fair earnings.

Certified Transitional (C.T.)

Products are certified by a 3rd party to meet specific production and sourcing requirements that assist farmers transitioning from conventional to organic farmland. Ingredients come from farms that meet USDA organic farming requirements noted above but are in the 3-year transition period required to achieve USDA organic certification.
