Before submitting your first styling request, you will create a profile and take our style survey, which will capture your style, brand, fit, and budget preferences. When you make a request, you can tell us what styles you are shopping for and share additional details, such as specific items you would like to receive. The more information you share, the better we can style you. You can update your profile preferences at any time by clicking your profile name in the top right corner.
We use a combination of technology innovation and a human touch to curate items for you based on the information you provide in your style survey. We pick pieces from our selection of thousands of brands to fit your style and budget for various occasions. We do our best to meet your style and request needs and use the feedback you provide to improve your picks.
Our fashion stylists come from varied backgrounds in the fashion, retail, editorial, styling and creative fields. They are trained to select items and styles based on fit, color, styling, seasonal and current trends.
You can submit a styling request monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly. We’ll notify you prior to your styling date and ask if you have specific requests for that month. You can also leave it to us, and we will prepare a wardrobe update for you based on your profile preferences.
You can create multiple profiles and fill out a new style survey for each person you are shopping for. Only one profile can be styled; you choose which Profile you’d like our stylists to recommend picks for in advance of your next subscription renewal. Creating more profiles does not increase your subscription cost.
The profile selection page will display all existing profiles associated with your Amazon account. Profiles created while shopping for clothing and shoes can be selected to update your shopping preferences and choose who gets styled. Certain profiles, such as your profiles from Amazon Household or child profiles, may be visible but are not eligible for selection for the Personal Shopper experience.
You can see your Personal Shopper picks a few days after your request is submitted. We will notify you via the email associated with your Prime account and in your Amazon Shopping App when your picks are ready to preview. When you receive the email, click the link to view your recommended styles. You can also check the status of your request at any time from the Personal Shopper program page.
Style moves fast, and we encourage you to ship your picks when you receive your preview notification. You can continue to preview until you are styled again, as long as the items remain available.
In order for a box to ship, you must select between one to eight items. If you do not want to ship at least one item, you can provide feedback on your picks which will be sent to our stylists. You will have seven days to try on the items at home and you will only be charged for the items you decide to keep. Your shipment comes in a resealable package with an adhesive prepaid return label to make returns easy.
You will have seven calendar days to try on your items at home, starting on the day your order is delivered. Before the end of the seven day try-on period, please go to Your Orders to check out and indicate which items you are keeping and returning. You have until the end of the try-on period to postmark returns: Use the provided return label and drop off your returns at UPS.
You can have up to two Prime Try Before You Buy orders in progress at a time. Once all items marked “return” during your prior Prime Try Before You Buy checkout have been received and processed, you will be able to ship your Personal Shopper picks. You can track the progress of your returns at the Returns Center under “Manage returns.”
We accept debit/credit cards with expiration dates at least 90 days in the future.
Note: Pre-paid cards, and gift cards are not currently accepted.
Don’t worry, you have not been charged. When you ship an order, we verify the card with a temporary authorization. You should see the amount disappear from your account shortly.
You will be charged the Personal Shopper by Prime Try Before You Buy fee upon sign-up and on the signup date of each styling request. You will not be charged for items you ship until you complete your purchase in the Amazon store during the 7-day try-on period. If you do not complete checkout online at Your Orders, we'll automatically charge you for all of the items in your order at the end of your 7-day try-on period. Don’t worry, we’ll send you reminders along the way!
Yes, we ask that you return to Your Orders to check out before the end of your 7-day try-on period so we only charge you for the items you want to keep. If you forget to complete checkout during the 7-day try-on period, you will be automatically charged for all items in your order at the end of the try-on period. If you've already put your returned items in the mail when this charge occurs, you don't need to take additional action - you will automatically be refunded when we receive your returned items.
In order to ship your order in as few boxes as possible, Personal Shopper by Prime Try Before You Buy shipping may take 4-6 business days. You can always purchase items using Amazon Prime and take advantage of Amazon Fashions’ 30-day return policy.
If you change your mind, you can keep items that you marked “return” during checkout; you will automatically be charged for them when returns processing is complete.
We cannot send packages to P.O. boxes or to military bases due to package size restrictions.

If you change your mind, or if you have been automatically charged for items at the end of the try-on period that you did not intend to keep, you will still have 30 days from the end of the try-on period to return the items to Amazon for a refund. The items will be subject to the same Amazon Fashion 30-day Return Policy (items must be returned in their original packaging, including: hangers, polybags, hang tags on garments, shoe boxes, dust bags, and gift boxes. Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged).
