What is Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe?

Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe is a new styling service, exclusive for Prime members, that provides style inspiration and personalized recommendations. After learning more about your broad preferences including style, fit, and budget, our stylists will curate inspirational pieces for everyday or help find that perfect look for work, vacation, or a night out. Our stylists pull from thousands of brands across clothing, shoes, and accessories and handpick items that suit your budget, fit and style preferences, as well as your specific fashion needs. You will have the opportunity to preview your stylist picks and select which items to ship in your Prime Wardrobe order with the benefits of no up-front cost, try-on at home period of up to seven days, easy returns with our resealable packaging, and pay only for what you decide to keep. Personal Shopper is launching for women’s styles, and we look forward to expanding our capabilities for men’s selection soon.

What is the difference between Prime Wardrobe and Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe?

Now you have two great options to bring the fitting room home and try-before-you-buy. With Prime Wardrobe, you get to fill up your box with items to try on at home. Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe has the ultimate convenience of a personalized shopping experience. With either option, you can order clothing, shoes and accessories, and take seven days to decide what you love and only pay for what they keep. Returns are easy and free with our resealable packaging.

What customers have access to Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe?

Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe is exclusively for U.S. Prime members, launching with women’s styles. It is currently accessible via the Amazon Shopping App for iOS or Android mobile phones. Stay tuned for Personal Shopper for men’s selection, launching soon.

Prime eligibility: Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe is available for Amazon Prime members (Amazon Prime paid and 30-day trial memberships and Amazon Prime Student paid and six-month trial memberships), and members of their Amazon Household. Members with Prime Video-only subscriptions and invited guests who receive only shipping benefits from another Prime member do not have access to Prime Wardrobe.

How do I access Personal Shopper?

From the Amazon shopping app, access the program via the Personal Shopper program page. You can also search “Personal Shopper” from your Amazon Shopping App.

How much does it cost?

Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe is $4.99/ month, which entitles you to one styling per month. Each month, you can send us details on what you’re looking for in your upcoming styling, or we’ll pull together items based on your Style Profile. You can cancel your membership at any time if you need a break or our membership is not for you.

How do I cancel?

For your convenience, your membership will automatically renew, unless you cancel before your next billing cycle. If you need a break or our membership is not for you, you can cancel anytime by visiting Your Memberships and Subscription page from Your Accounts.

What sizes do you support?

We are currently styling women’s apparel in sizes 0–24 and XS–XXL/3X, as well as women’s shoes in sizes 5-12.

What items are eligible for Personal Shopper?

Our stylists curate selection for you from Amazon Fashion’s unparalleled assortment – hundreds of thousands of styles across customer-loved brands as well as new, emerging fashion brands. There are thousands of brands available via Personal Shopper including – 7 for All Mankind, Calvin Klein, Levi’s, AG Adriano Goldschmied, Rebecca Taylor, Champion, adidas, Amazon Essentials, Daily Ritual, and much more. We currently are available for women’s selection only, with men’s coming soon.

How do I provide feedback on the program?

Each month, you can provide feedback on what items you’re looking for in your upcoming styling. Within a few days, you will receive a preview of stylists’ curated items for you. If you do not love your picks, you can provide feedback to improve your next set of picks. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us shape our service for you and others.

Getting Started & Making a Styling Request

How do I share my preferences with my stylist?

Before submitting your first styling request, you will create your Style Profile, which will capture your style, brand, fit, and budget preferences, that is available to update at any time. When you make a request, you can select what type of styles you are shopping for and share additional details, like specific items you want to receive, trends or colors you prefer (or prefer to avoid). The more information you share, the better we can style you. You can update your Style Profile preferences at any time using the Style Profile logo in the top right corner.

How do my recommendations get selected for me?

We use a combination of technology innovation and a personalized human touch to curate items for you based on the information you provide in your Style Profile. We pick pieces from our selection of thousands of brands to fit your style and budget for various occasions. We do our best to meet your style and request needs, and use the feedback you provide on items each month to improve your picks.

Who are the stylists?

Our fashion stylists come from varied backgrounds in the fashion, retail, editorial, styling and creative fields. They are trained to select items and styles based on fit, color, styling, seasonal and current trends.

When can I submit another request?

You can submit a styling request once per month. Each month, we’ll notify you prior to your styling date to ask for any details if you have a specific request for that month. You can also leave it to us, and we will prepare a wardrobe update for you based on your Style Profile.

Reviewing Your Stylist Picks

How long does it take to receive my Personal Shopper picks?

You can see your Personal Shopper picks a few days after your request is submitted. We will notify you via the email associated with your Prime account and in your Amazon Shopping App when your picks are ready to preview. When you receive the email, tap the link from your mobile phone to view your recommended styles in the Amazon Shopping App. You can also check the status of your request at any time from the Personal Shopper program page.

How much time do I have to preview my picks?

Style moves fast, and we encourage you to ship your picks when you receive your preview notification. You can continue to preview until you are styled again, as long as the items remain available.

Shipping

How do I ship my picks?

In order for a box to ship, you must select between two to eight items. If you do not want to ship at least two items, you can provide feedback on your picks which will be sent to our stylists. You will have seven days to try on the items at home and you will only be charged for the items you decide to keep. Your shipment comes in a resealable package with an adhesive prepaid return label to make returns easy.

How long is the try-on period?

You will have seven calendar days to try on your items at home, starting on the day your order is delivered. Before the end of the seven day try-on period, please go to Your Orders to check out and indicate which items you are keeping and returning. You have until the end of the try-on period to postmark returns: Use the provided return label and drop off your returns at UPS.

I have a Prime Wardrobe order out and cannot proceed to shipping my Personal Shopper picks. What do I do?

You can only have one Prime Wardrobe order in progress at a time. Once all items marked “return” during your prior Prime Wardrobe checkout have been received and processed, you will be able to ship your Personal Shopper picks. You can track the progress of your returns at the Returns Center under “Manage returns.”

What payment methods are accepted for Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe orders?

We accept credit cards with expiration dates at least 90 days in the future.
Note: Debit cards, pre-paid cards, and gift cards are not currently accepted.

Why did I see a $1 charge to my credit card?

Don’t worry, you have not been charged. When you ship an order, we verify the card with a temporary authorization. You should see the amount disappear from your account shortly.

When will I be charged?

You will be charged the Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe monthly fee upon sign-up and on the signup date of each subsequent month. You will not be charged for items you ship until you complete your purchase in the Amazon store during the 7-day try-on period. If you do not complete checkout online at Your Orders, we'll automatically charge you for all of the items in your order at the end of your 7-day try-on period. Don’t worry, we’ll send you reminders along the way!

Do I need to check out online? Can't I just send the items I don’t want back? What if I want to keep everything?

Yes, we ask that you return to Your Orders to check out before the end of your 7-day try-on period so we only charge you for the items you want to keep. If you forget to complete checkout during the 7-day try-on period, you will be automatically charged for all items in your order at the end of the try-on period. If you've already put your returned items in the mail when this charge occurs, you don't need to take additional action - you will automatically be refunded when we receive your returned items.

Why can't I get my order in two days? I'm a Prime member.

In order to ship your order in as few boxes as possible, Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe shipping may take 4-6 business days. You can always purchase items using Amazon Prime and take advantage of Amazon Fashions’ 30-day return policy.

What if I decided to keep something after I completed checkout?

If you change your mind, you can keep items that you marked “return” during checkout; you will automatically be charged for them when returns processing is complete.

Returns

How do I return items that I do not want to keep?

First, complete your checkout online before the end of your 7-day try-on period by going to Your Orders. Your shipment comes in a resealable package with an adhesive prepaid return label to make returns easy. Simply use the provided return label and drop off your package at the nearest UPS location. Items must be returned with tags on and in their original packaging, including: hangers, polybags, shoe boxes, dust bags, and gift boxes. Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged. Note: If you receive an order in multiple packages, you can return items in any package using any of the return labels.

How long do I have to return my items?

You have until the end of the try-on period to postmark returns. Don't forget to complete your checkout online before the end of your 7-day try-on period by going to Your Orders. Simply drop off your returns at the nearest UPS location.

What if I want to return something after the 7-day try-on period?

If you change your mind, or if you have been automatically charged for items at the end of the try-on period that you did not intend to keep, you will still have 30 days from the end of the try-on period to return the items to Amazon for a refund. The items will be subject to the same Amazon Fashion 30-day Return Policy (items must be returned in their original packaging, including: hangers, polybags, hang tags on garments, shoe boxes, dust bags, and gift boxes. Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged).

Do I need to have all items returned by the end of the 7-day try-on period?

To avoid being charged for all items in your order, please complete checkout before the end of your 7-day try-on period by going to Your Orders. You have until the end of the 7-day try-on period to postmark a return shipment at a UPS location.

Can I return non-Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe items with my returns?

No. Please only return items ordered from Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe in the resealable box.
