How it works
Dash Cart is your interactive companion during your entire shopping trip.
Adding and removing items
Scan and weigh directly in Dash Cart, and then place your item in the bag. To remove an item, scan it while taking it out of your bag, and confirm its removal on the screen.
Adding price by weight items
For items like produce, the Dash Cart touchscreen shows the nearest items for you to select from, or you can search for items by name using the search feature. Dash Cart also has a built in scale that will weigh your item when you place it in the cart, and show you the price. You can then accept, or adjust the quantity as desired.
Checking out
When you’re ready to check out, locate the Dash Cart lane. If you signed in with your in-app Amazon store code, your primary payment method will be charged, and an itemized receipt will be sent to you via email. If you tapped “start shopping” without using your in-app Amazon store code, an associate will finalize the transaction for you in the exit lane.
