How do I shop for Pre-owned Certified products?
While searching for products on Amazon, you’ll see the Climate Pledge Friendly label on eligible new and pre-owned products. The Pre-owned Certified label will be listed on the product detail page of eligible refurbished products that have passed a quality inspection.
How do products qualify for the Pre-owned Certified program?
Pre-owned products in approved categories become Pre-owned Certified if the product meets the defined repair criteria. Once eligible refurbished products have passed a quality inspection, they are tested and listed in the program.
Products must meet all of the following criteria to qualify:
1. Product must be a pre-owned product that has electrical or mechanical components that can be replaced or upgraded to excellent functional standards.
2. Product must be within an approved category and meet the criteria standards with a battery capacity exceeding 80% of the new equivalent and with any repair operation utilizing Original Equipment Manufacturer parts.
