I loved the 6 cup Pyrex and wanted something smaller this was perfect. Not to big not to small just right. They stack really good and clean really easy. I've cooked in this, freezed leftovers, microwaved with no issue, without the lid on. Use a little oil and food doesn't stick, pops right out.

I received a heated lunch box as a gift and this dish fits perfectly in it.
I can pack my lunch the night before plug my box in when I get to work and by lunch time i have a hot lunch that makes my coworkers envious lol.
My only criticism is that it isn't really leak proof, aside from that its AWESOME!!

this is the only kind of container I use anymore. I love these. I particularly like that there are no clasping
grips on all four sides which must be snapped and on snapped for the lid removal. I usually can’t get those Snapped all the way, and I often break a nail when I try to on snap them shut. These lids are very easy to get on and off, airtight, free and clean of chemical offgassing

I was looking for something that I could take my lunch to work so that I wouldn't have to carry so many containers, and this is the perfect size. It holds just the right amount for me, although I wouldn't use it for salads because as much as I love salad, this container wouldn't be big enough. I also wouldn't recommend putting liquids in it, unless you're sure that you can keep the container upright; otherwise, the liquid will leak out.

I, also, am trying to get away from using plastic containers in the microwave, and Pyrex (without the lids) are fantastic; they are easy to clean, don't hold odors, and I have no problems with the lid(s) not fitting. Pyrex gets a "thumbs-up" from me.

Used to be able to pick these up in Australia easily, unfortunately they have become rare as hens teeth and everyone buys the cheaper thinner ones with white lids that are far more delicate. The green lid ones are very useful but not the same, although they do have the thick glass.
