Why is this camera pictured with the Zeiss 24mm 1.8 lens, which is not included?

Because the Zeiss is by far the best lens available for this camera (sold separately and NOT cheap)!

Because Sony does not make a quality lens for this camera and the Zeiss one is the only lens that takes excelent pictures with this camera. Sony will not tell you that, but you have to buy the Zeiss lens separate for more than $1000 to get quality pictures with this camera.

Because it's not. The picture is very clearly the kit 18-55 lens.
