I got it on my Fire and it won't download the manga I bought. I am very disappointed. The app opens, it gives me multiple ways to tell the book to download, but it just sits there telling me it's downloading but never finishing. They come up fine on my desktop but that's not convenient to read from, I want them on my tablet. I wish they'd coordinate with Amazon to just show up like my Amazon ebooks do. I'm very frustrated with them.

I deleted this app immediately after discovering it didn't do what I was wanting. I've got a bunch of Humble Bundle comics that I've put onto my Kindle Fire HD 10. This appears to be a comic reading app, as it is described. It's not, it's solely a portal to purchase comics from a closed ecosystem. It's frustrating that there's not a good way to read the comics I've purchased to support charity, but there must be some other app out there that lets you read your own purchased comics. Just not this one.

Comixology is a good application for reading digital comics. It has a wide selection from the Big comics companies as well as some independent ones.

Though it is a good app, it can certainly stand to improve. I have several issues with it. Firstly, the search engine (more specifically, the search choices) are not great. It can be a bit difficult to find more niche comics. Also, the search engine does not have an option to search comics by character name. If, for some reason, you wanted to find comics which have some of the more obscure characters from a comic brand, there is no way to do it with Comixology's search engine. Perhaps worst of all, the non-English language comic selections are terrible.

Collected comics back in the 90's and some Star Wars merch. Star Wars merch took over (I wasn't well, it was an addiction) and I lost touch with comics.

Fast forward many years and Disney buy Lucasfilm and they own Marvel. . . . . hmmmm. I started buying the Star Wars comics again and they have been a mixed bag really BUT I could now download and read them on a digital platform looking after my physical books. 👍 Awesome 😁

Well as a comic book lover of old I'd give this App 5 out of 5 IF they did an unlimited subscription like in North America. I could collect, protect and eat my cheese still, I could read books from my past and I could see some of the joys I've missed out on over the last twenty years without having to buy the physical or break the bank.

Must be a licence thing but it's a shame. I thought the WEF wanted us all having digital everything soon!?
