Yes. I have an older Linksys wireless router, B&G, and it works for my PC's, laptops, Samsung Galaxies, Ipod, wi-fi dvd player and Nook. Everything works and works well.

This is just the modem, albeit a very good one. I have a wireless router running right from this, completely compatible.

Yes, I have a Netgear router and this works great. I can use it to access the Internet as well as my printer and can share information between computers while providing security for the whole system.

yes, but it depens on network provider. Mine is Cox. So you should ask your provider to make sure.
