This cookbook has revolutionized my relationship with food and cooking!

It's true. Cooking with a Yogaview has completely revolutioned my relationship with food and cooking. For most of my life, I lived on the same diets that the average American eats - lots of processed, convenient, not-so-good-for-you but seemingly tasty stuff. I didn't cook much, and when I did, it was more of a chore than a pleasure. Then, in my late 30's, events conspired to force me to re-examine my relationship both to my body and to food. Learning to take care of and appreciate myself meant that I needed to adopt a new approach to my body, food, and exercise. The food part was the most difficult for me. Like many of us, I don't have a lot of time or money, but I want to eat food that tastes good and is good for me. After trying a gazillion different cookbooks, I can report that this one far surpasses any of the others in pretty much every arena. The recipes are easy to follow, easy to make, require comparatively few ingredients, and - most importantly - they taste better than any dishes I'd previously created. A few recipes (e.g. the roasted broccoli and the cauliflower with tahini and date syrup) have become staples in my weekly meal planning. This cookbook has helped me not only to eat better but also to enjoy the preparation process. An added benefit is that I now love cooking and eating well. Enjoying healthy food doesn't have to be difficult or painful. You just need someone or something to help you learn the basics and a few tricks. Cooking with a a Yogaview has been that guide for me.

Wow--a yoga star and a chef!

This book is just what the doctor ordered--maybe literally as well as figuratively. I am not a great cook, but I am tired of $80 restaurant meals that consist of "small plates" and one cocktail. And it is far easier now to order at a restaurant a huge hunk of the very popular "pork belly" than it is to get a decent side order of broccoli. Yuck! So, I am now resolved to become a better cook and eat more carefully and with greater attention to what is healthy for me (and my dinner companions). And with that in mind, I ordered Cooking with a Yogaview. It is everything I had hoped it would be--great recipes that are easy to follow (even for me) and that result in healthy meals for even the most sophisticated of palates! My favorites so far are the tilapia and brussel sprouts.

I have owned Cooking With a Yogaview for 3 weeks now and have made the veggie stock, carrot ginger soup, spicy coconut soup, roasted broccoli, and rosemary potatoes. Each and every dish was a winner. I have given 2 copies as gifts and plan to give more (one of the recipients made me arugula pesto from the "choose your own adventure pesto" page as a thank you and that was amazing too.) I also love the photography and the perfect size of the book itself. Highly highly recommend.

I've been cooking my way through this book since I got it and have loved every recipe so far. The recipes are very approachable and simple and they taste so good. My meat eating family members repeatedly ask me for more of these vegetarian dishes!

I was automaticaly intrigued with the unique recipes in this cookbook. I've grappled with cooking vegetarian for years, and this book has the kind of recipes you can make a meal out of. Not only are the recipes easy to follow and yummy. But the actual book itself is gorgeous and inspiring. I can't wait to give these as hostess gifts at holiday parties this year.
