If I wanted this game I would have to shell out the cash to get the new system just to play one game!!!! I'm getting so sick and tired of this idiocy!!

I would say that it pretty much should have been. The reason being that it did not seem to be enhanced in any way that I know of save an extra dungeon. I'm really not complaining being that it's such a great game and to have it even in the original form is nothing short of amazing. I also own the PS1 version but I like the game so much I wanted a portable version without the cumbersome load times, as well. However, if they could update such tremendous RPG's such as Final Fantasy III and IV, why in the world would they not with Chrono Trigger?? Let's just hope for a direct sequel to this incredible game one day!!!

I have yet to finish the game, but wasn't Chrono Cross somewhat of a sequel?
