I didn't realize there is a 2017 edition by a different publisher. My cousin told me about the Circle of Atonement publication. It is based on the original handwritten notes of Helen Schucman, and it's a complete and annotated edition. It is from her earliest manuscripts, footnotes, and cameo essays. In my opinion, it is far superior and so much clearer and easier to understand, with 1945 pages!! With this edition, the reader does not have to go back and forth from the text and handbook to understand the complex material. I am so grateful that she told me about this, in my opinion, upgraded version of one of the most profound pieces of work every printed! I hope this is helpful in making your selection on which book to order.
Doesn't matter what religion you are as this book is not truly about religion, though on the surface it seems so. Doesn't matter if the message is based on a Christian theme; the message in this book is universal. Especially if you practice Tibetan Buddhism, this book is the Dharma on steroids; you will love it. Read this book.
The main premise is our egos (the fall) have caused us so much suffering, pain, bad experiences, self hatred, and hatred of others. The ego is the enemy. True happiness is available to us all--no matter what your original religion or current world beliefs. This book will help you to truly understand the real message of whatever religion you happen to practice and believe in. Lasting, everyday happiness is available to you now. Choose it. Read this book.
We were meant to be happy; however, we cause our own problems, and believe other people or outside situations do, which is not true. You can change your life for the better. Read this book; the complete book with the 365 lessons.

Ultimately, we are a union - a singular, which separated and only the ego masks the truth as it fuels delusion and selifishness.
