We had the digital dial version of the same grinder. We loved it u til the digital dial started acting up and would not show the grind sizes. We loved grinder and decided to get this one without the digital dial. We loved it so far. It gives precise grinds for my espresso and for my drip.
When you find the one you like click on it. If it comes in other colors then it will give you the option to do so. Or you can go to brevilles website to see what machines they make and then see what colors are available. Last of all if all else fails and this is really important to you... call the company phone number up and speak with them directly and give them the model of your preferred machine. Good luck

I am very impressed with this grinder so far! Since decaf is a very uncommon choice among customers, I was looking for a grinder under $200 that produces consistent results for espresso and allows me to grind each dose to order. This is a great affordable option, and I'm hopeful that it holds up to moderate usage in the future.
I think this machine would work very nicely with the Rancilio Silvia. It produces a very fine grind all the way up to a very corse grind. So not only would it be great for your espresso it will also grind for drip coffee and press coffee as well.
Yes, it does. You can adjusting the grinding size by turning the coffee bean holder and you can further adjust on the top of the upper burr.

Our coffee grinder can of course coarsely grind coffee beans for cold brew. The degree of grinding is entirely up to you. If you want coarsely ground coffee for cold brew, you can make the grinding time shorter.

yes it dose grind coffee very fine and use for making coffee to use with my Keurig.
There's only on setting on this product and it pretty coarse. I always get it on the finest, espresso because I like my coffee on the stronger side. However, it's easy to use, just plug it in, put the coffee beans in it and grind. Clean up isn't as easy but easy enough. If you like your coffee coarse then this should be fine. If you like your grinds finer, this product may not be for you. I hope this helps you.

Don't know for sure about soy beans, but I regularly grind chick peas (garbanzo beans) in my machine with no problem. It works well. Then I clean out the grinder with a piece of bread and use it immediately afterwards for coffee beans.
Unlike a burr grinder, Ablade grinder like this grinds fine or coarse depending on how long you let the beans grind. If you want consistent grind coffee beans, a burr grinder is what you need. They are more expensive of course. I use these guys are grinders for spices mainly.
