I needed a separate grinder for spices and this product fits the bill. I like to use fresh spices when cooking and I can make my own spice blends easily with this grinder. It is easy to use and easy to clean. It comes with its own brush. I am happy with this grinder.

Grinds the beans very well, so easy to use
You put your coffee beans in and push down on top . That is all it takes to get perfect ground coffee! Highly recommend!
I am not sure about bread crumbs, but cloves, cumin seeds, and cinnamon that is stocked but broken into small chunks it can grind it up. I love this product. Since buying this and grinding coffee beans up I only prefer whole beans instead of already ground coffee.

I bought this grinder for grinding whole coffee beans and it works amazing so far.
Our coffee grinder can of course coarsely grind coffee beans for cold brew. The degree of grinding is entirely up to you. If you want coarsely ground coffee for cold brew, you can make the grinding time shorter.

This is the best grinder that I have had so far, it does a very nice consistent grind with minimal static electricity.
My wife has noticed an improved flavor since we switched from store ground whole beans to this. Unit is load enough that we grind the night before as to not wake the whole house in the morning. have had a few times (3-4 over 4 months of use) where the beans will lock up and not feed into the hopper but a little shake and occasional cleaning take care of it
it seems air tite to me .lid fits tite. I try to put about two pots of coffee beans in. not fill it to the top. your use may not be the same as mine. I grind at medium for drip coffee maker.....once in a while I grind at fine on cold days. I use a gold tone filter with a #4 natural brown paper filter in the coffee maker...oxo grinder prepares the beans perfectly. I use good beans--BOYER BLONDE DENVER ROAST or SRARBUCKS original Medium roast. don't buy cheap beans at BIG LOTS OR DOLLAR GENERAL if you want good tasting coffee ol hoosier tells it like it is.
I use "Eight O'Clock" beans and the setting at about 10 to 10.5 for my Cuisinart drip maker. I like a smooth non-bitter cup. Others might prefer an 6 or a 7. My daughter uses about a 12 or 13 for a french press. Love this thing, once you experiment and get the grind fineness and the time to grind nailed...you can reproduce the same nummy pot of coffee each time. I make 10 cups for myself and set the timer for 14-15 seconds.

This burr grinder is being used at least three times a day and has been working like a champ, grinding out fresh roasted beans for espresso, drip and French press brews. I’m very happy with this product and would definitely purchase again. Using fresh ground coffee in a reusable Kcup is worth it. The taste is better and cost is less than the pre filled option. Start with a medium-coarse grind, 10.5 on this machine, and adjust to taste.

This is my second Virtuoso coffee grinder from this brand and you can't go wrong with it. I like the digital timer to grind and dispense just the right amount of coffee.
This can be a problem with all coffee grinders- even the hand grinders. I have tried about everything including using the MILTYPRO Zerostat 3 (usually used with records to reduce static). I have had my best results by putting a few drops of water into the whole beans and slowly mixing them before putting them into the grinder. You might have to experiment with the amount of water in the beans as too much causes clumping. Good luck as fresh ground coffee is the best- I do it each time I brew.
