I ordered this pan after doing research for a pan that will not warp after many times used. This pan is very sturdy and not so heavy. I really like that it has a large flat bottom so the sides slope up on the edges.
its a frying pan. it works swell and is supposed to be safe to cook with. Cleans up very well after a fish fry.
A beautiful wok. Heavier than expected, but necessary to handle the heat. I use mine over 25K BTU without problem. Seasoning instructions were very clear on the package and easy to follow. Clean up after use was a snap.
This is a great fry pan!
I am very impressed with how it evenly distributes, how comfortable the handle is and the ease of cleaning. Haven’t used enough to assess if it’s scratch resistant
Light and sturdy... great for stir fry!

Great skillet, especially when I need to fry large amounts of food.…
There isn't a better fry pan at this price for my money!…
I had lids from other pans that fit great. I love my pan
I can't answer that, but I really love my 12-inch pan. I got one that is slightly dented and got a really good price with no defect in it's frying capacity.
Great for frying, and one pan dinners.…
good fry pan but expensive
The sides of this skillet are low (slightly lower than 2), which makes it hard to keep everything in the pan when stir frying, and it doesn't hold as much in general.…The 3.22 in dimension is to the top of the handle, which is higher than the fry pan -- and not a very useful dimension.…
My last non-stick frying pan was thin, which resulted in uneven heat distribution and it pretty quickly warped with the center of the pan raising up so eggs cracked in the middle of the pan would run to the outer edges.…
I have used so many non-stick frying pans and have constantly been disappointed with their failure.…

Works well with an electric stove-top, the flat bottom evenly distributes the heat evenly. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Bought this as a gift for my friend and she loves it
I like to stir-fry vegetables, keeping the flavor and "crunch" intact . This requires a balance of cooking temperature with one "application" of nonstick spray
I would say it's more like 2.5 inches deep. Seems plenty deep to fry chicken.
I received a gift card for my birthday and I've been needing a large frying pan as mine was getting totally scratched up on the bottom and I didn't feel it was safe to use anymore. I LOVE this frying pan...it's perfect and it's great having a lid.
Love this frying pan and the lid is a plus!!…
Excellent
I ordered this for mine (Crestware Fry Pan Dome Pan Cover for 14-1/2 625-Inch Fry Pan) and it fits great. Handle gets hot though.
The inside of the top is 12". It's a great pan for large amounts or if you are frying bacon. 4 slices fit flat across the bottom and fry beautifully. I love this skillet because even thought it is big it so useful.

I love my wok. seasoned like instructions stated and cooked in for the first time last night, stir fry noodles turned out perfect!
It was pretty easy to season (I used an organic grapeseed oil) and once you get the hang of proper high heat stir frying, it's very easy to keep clean and maintain with just water and a nylon brush.…
I don't know, but this wok is heated up quickly. It can also sustain high heat. When I stir fry food with peanut oil, the food tastes with wok-chi or a great aroma.
What a fabulous wok made a stir fry last night General Tao's Chicken delish.
…I have to admit I was skeptical but I followed Lance’s instructions to season it which, by the way, we’re a lot easier than I thought, and now I’m crazy cooking stir fry’s as good as any Chinese restaurant!
…Great for stir fry and easy to clean.
…The Helper Handle is a good feature because the wok might break your wrist if you tried to flip or toss anything while stir frying.
…Works perfectly for stir-fry.…
Made some good stir fry dishes on this wok.…
This is a great fry pan!
This is my 6th piece of All-Clad cookware. The quality is superb & pan performs very well (as expected). I like that it works so well on my induction stove top. I paid $129.99 for this & I think that it is an exceptional value. I look forward to using this pan for many years.
Great product for searing beef, chicken, and salmon
Mine hasn't turned brown from frying with oil yet. I thoroughly clean the pan each and every time I use it. I have not used Barkeeper's on the pan, so I can't answer that question.
I only have one and don't know the answer. This one can go in the oven or broiler.
I love this frying pan it has made my frying steak fun.…
Best fry pan ever and it comes with a lid!
Just as described what a I say I love this pan and especially since it is American Made Easy clean up.
I measured again and the area that comes in direct contact is 9 inches in diameter. That area is a worn differently...the curve is still shiny like the rest of the pan. Hope this answers your question.
Yes, it's completely flat. I'm loving how this pan cooks. You don't need super high heat as it cooks evenly. So much better/easier than coated pans.
I am very impressed with how it evenly distributes, how comfortable the handle is and the ease of cleaning. Haven’t used enough to assess if it’s scratch resistant
It’s been a couple of weeks since I started using this pan. So far, so good.
Very happy with this frying pan.
Yes it can but I wouldn’t use XVOL for frying. Great pan though!
I do not have the covered fry pan........mine is the open fry pan. However, I have found that the Circulon covers fit all 3 of my Oxo fry pans.
Great for frying bacon. The whole slice of bacon fits inside the frying pan.
love them
Good product for the price and it lasts just as long as the more expensive ones.
I have a 12" fry pan it is totally flat and a great pan.
i use a 12" lid from a Calpholon deep fry pan I already owed. They also make glass ones, which may be more your style. Any one will work. Even aluminum foil.
Light and sturdy... great for stir fry!
Easy to clean, and easy to heat up. It is such a low cost, I replace it every year with a new one
I use this all the time. Its nice and big very satisfied.
Yes it can be used for high heat frying. It's a good pan I recommend it!
It says Made in France, why? I still use it, but I swear, it is not perfect for stir frying since it glides on your burner but it is perfect for cleaning.
…Works great for stir frys and is a good size.
Works great for making stir fry!
For an inexpensive wok, this little gem will do everything you want it to do: excellent for stir-frys and cleans easily.
Forgot to measure depth; it is approsimately 4 inches. I find it deep enough to stir fry most things. If you are cooking a huge quanatity, you probably need a larger wok. Most of my use is cooking main dishes for two people.
no it does not but i never use a lid as i like the veggies crisp and i think steaming them makes them mushy. most i think cook them way too long and high hest is necessary. i never leave the stove when stir frying
