Bought this one as a gift. We have owned 2 ourselves, they are wonderful for chopping anything small like onions for cooking. Clean up is a breeze. Great product. Will not chop ice!
I havent used a food processor but this one dices onione pretty well. If you use it for long though, it really makes a paste
Yes, I should think it would! I am out of the baby making food stage but I should think it would do a good job.

I bought this item as a gift for my mother. For her, it chops well, but she has not tried nuts or lemon zest. However, it chops up food finely and is working better than slightly bigger than choppers.
i would try it. the blade is very sharp and i pulse cat food as my boys don't like chunks. just pulse for the consistency you want. good luck.

This is a very nice little chopper. I like the fact that it can reverse the blade. Size is very nice and it works very well. I would truly recommend it.
Yes, if you are using steamed vegetables. Purses comprised of soft foods usually result to a smooth finish. I bought this primarily for nuts and seeds which is why I gave it a poor rating but it will work for baby food.
This little machine really takes a lot of hard prep work off the table. I love throwing some cauliflower in here for a good side - smashed cauliflower was worth the purchase of this little guy. It doesn't hold a lot, but does a great job of slicing and dicing. I'd buy again.

Yes it is. I purchased one for me and my sister. I use mine for chopping up veggies quick or garlic. my sister uses hers to make baby food and puts it in drinkable pouches. 😊Hope this helps.
Yes depending upon what you using I have chopped apples and carrots and almonds as well as made very thick and thin smoothies with it It can chop food well enough so that with the apples and carrots if I had added water and then heated it I could have made baby food

It can do some things like make soup and stuff like that, but I’m not sure you need it strictly for food processing if you slready have a good, dedicated unit. Blending drinks is what this Baby is really all about.

Yes. For soups, just run for 5-6 minutes. For frozen food, you need to put more frozen items and less liquid otherwise, it just becomes a smoothie.
I've never used it for that specific application, but I would think it would work well. It blends ice to a smooth, non-chunky mix, and I've used it for other heavy-food blends and it does a great job.

I got this for Christmas mostly to make baby food but also for general use, like making smoothies.… --I like that it is dishwasher safe and can blend both hot and cold foods.... --It purees baby food great. I do fruit and veggies, of course, but I also do chicken with some of the baby food recipes, and it purees chicken equally well.... If you're looking for an inexpensive blender to do baby food or smoothies or similar things, this is great.…
It does not include a food processor attachment. The bowl is large at the bottom so it does resist clogging up. For the price you cannot beat it. We use it mainly for smoothies and milk shakes. Seems to have plenty of power.
I don't know u need worry about BPA stuff cause it's glass I think it's safe I use it to make juice and make a wide range of stuff with no problem I that what makes this blender great in my opinion is it has a self cleaning button so no worry about left over stuff been stuck in there ! But baby food should be ok cause it's glass so you use hot water to sterliz it before u use it , I think this the best one for baby food in my opinion

My guess would be yes. This particular blender has 4 blades instead of the standard 2. Between using the pulse button and the slowest speed I believe you would achieve the consistency desired for baby food.
The blender is not designed for dry foods. The blades are not sharp. I do liquid foods in the blender and it works great.

I first bought the 100w blender and used it for veggie smoothies and food processing. thought I would have to upgrade to and expensive blender but when the price dropped on this system I snagged it up. couldn't be happier. would gladly pay full price and would but it again!
Finally!!!! A product that can keep up with my volume of shakes, smoothies and baking. Love the versatility of this product. Super easy to operate and clean. I have literally burned up three other blenders by three separate makers.

I didn't make baby food, but it could make it. If you blend it enough it can make a consistency of baby food.

Yes, you can. The baby food consistency is very similar as a thick smoothie, and you can manage how do you want it. And is very fast to use. Enjoy it
