Good taste, cooks well
I have never had black beans get done so quickly. Very tasty, good company whose quality is dependable
…Soybeans look great and cooked up well for tasty soy milk.
Where Pinto beans are concerned, these cook beautifully, and as the well appreciated fellow reviewers said, these beans are clean and whole. Cooked under a slow heat, one can expect these large pinto beans to taste a touch above the rest.…I should finish by saying that they went fast, and when cooked in a Dutch Oven thoroughly flavored at low temperature, oven preferred, but stove very nice too, Legumes food group stands tall in the charts. 4.5 Stars.
Very tasty and attractive when cooked.…

I soaked these overnight and started cooking them this afternoon to make some hummus and some chickpea and farro stew. With dried chickpeas bought locally, I often have to cook them for hours and maybe add a pinch of baking soda to get them tender. But I tasted these less than an hour after I started cooking them, and they are already tender and tasty!…
I love to cook my own garbanzos; I put them in salads, soups, rice and make humus.
Fresh taste, didn't take long to cook.…
…Well, if you like to make hummus, I'd go for canned because you don't have to pick out all the hulls of the peas after they're cooked.…

Packaged well & cook up nicely.
…I usually soak it overnight and cook it the next day.…

Nice fresh flavor when cooked. I purchased a variety of beans from this company and soaked and cooked them all together in a bean soup.…
Have soaked and cooked nearly every 365 beans and always great quality.
I don't know, but I am wondering if it matters since when you cook them you rinse the bejeebers out of them, then soak, dump the first soak water, then cook. It seems like this process should be enough. We are not sensitive to any of that stuff though so proceed with caution.
No, I have not seen any green. These are good, cook fast for black beans and have been sorted and cleaned very well before packaging.
…Taste awesome if you know how to cook.

…They taste good when I cook them
…I did successfully cook the soybeans and I was surprised at how yummy they were.…
I did not dehulle them and I love how my tempeh came out. You can't even feel it when it's cooked.
The bean is about 1/2 cm. (centimeter) or just over that size. They are small and I make natto with them. You need to pressure cook them over half hour to get them soft. I think they are perfect for natto. You really do not need to wash them. They soak overnight well as well.
…Flavor was good when cooked.…
…If you want to make soy milk or grind into flour or just cook them these are the beans you want to buy!…
…I make natto and/ or I simply cook them with some soy source and sake and eat them as a side dish.…
There are many opinions about the effects of soy and it is a subject that each person should determine individually. In everything I've studied regarding soy, preparation plays a huge part in any negative effects. The best way to eat soy is to prepare it yourself. Consuming commercially produced soy has been associated with some of the problems attributed to soy. The same goes for GMO soy. If you choose to eat soy, I highly recommend using this brand. It is non-GMO and the product is of excellent quality. And, as in all things, moderation is key. I soak these soybeans overnight, then cook in a pressure cooker the next day. They are a great stand in for any other type of bean in a low carb diet. I can also feel good about preparing these for my granddaughter, who prefers a vegetarian diet. Mrs. K
Hi, I am from Japan and I make natto for myself and my friends. First you need to get natto bacteria. Some people use store-bought natto for a starter, but that's not recommended because natto bacteria easily mutates, and might make your natto not sticky. It's nice to choose one from the three major strains of natto bacteria from Japan (Miyagino, Naruse, and Takahashi. I use Takahashi's). You also need a deep container or bowl for soaking beans, a pressure cooker, and a shallow container for fermentation. Some people use yogurt makers for fermentation, some use cooler bags with hot water bottles, but I use" Brod & Taylor Folding Proofer", because it's big enough to put a 9X13 container in, and you can maintain the ideal temperature, which is around 40C. For best results, I recommend a shallow container so that the beans are not layered too high. I use 500g of soybeans for one batch, and that makes a little less than 1000g of natto, which is about 30 servings. I found a webpage that shows the basic process in English (http://www.naokomoore.com/2012/05/making-natto-fermented-soybeans-from.html). The most important part of the process is sanitizing your hands and all the tools thoroughly, and do not talk, sneeze, or cough while you are handling the cooked beans :) Hope you make delicious natto!

…Always rinse and check the beans before adding to the cooking vessel. Some prefer soaking, but these cooked up well without soaking ahead of time. I also prefer to cook beans from dry, rather than be concerned with cans that could have BPA. And the dried beans are more economical, and well worth the extra effort to cook. You can also freeze cooked beans to have ready in advance.
Beans, decent, they’re cheap and the all cooked up well
…Being single I don’t cook them often but these beans are much better than available in local grocery stores where I live.
