Used in the Amazon in July (winter there). I came home without a single bite. I still use it in the backyard here in Va during the summer. Pleasant smell and not greasy.

A blast....just a blast....wife thought I was crazy getting this up until the fly population disappeared...I now travel to neighbors yards in search of something to shoot!…
…I am going to have so much fun playing target practice with this salt gun on the giant grasshoppers in my yard next spring! I used to go around the yard with a fly swatter killing them but this will make it so much more fun!…
That's a great question! I've never left my back yard with mine. A violin case would probably work.
No I haven't, but if the opportunity arises I would try it. Have killed spiders on dry ground though. I enjoy going on safari in my back yard.
I brought this out at a BBQ in my back yard last week and it was a hit.…
…Flies are not longer and as entertaining as a bug light in the back yard!
…He searches around the house looking for flys and now roams the yard and perimeter looking for ANY bugs.…
You can, but you'd better be good at shooting clays! If you want to shoot them on the fly, I suggest the Bug-A-Salt Yard and Garden version. IT uses a little more salt per shot, and seems to have a wider dispersion pattern. I have taken flies and wasps whilst on the wing with that tool.
Great question. I never had kids, but I suspect they are maturing later than past generations due to over protectiveness of the current crop of parents. I bought my first shotgun at 9 years old from money I made doing yard work in my little town. I was responsible with it then, and decades later I remain responsible when handling my firearms.

Living in a wooded area the ticks, black flies and mosquitoes are always nearby. It's always difficult to work in my gardens without having to worry about ticks especially. I used this for the first time this past saturdays cutting back bushes and raking and had no ticks on me when the day was done. Nor was I bothered by black flies and it smells good too! I would highly recommend!
I actually like the smell of this repellent and it even works on the patio. I would recommend something stronger if you're going to the lake or camping though.
It is body spray. I spray my legs when I go out to work in the yard.
Yes, in fact it does. We had a severe flea infestation in our yard this year, and while I was in the process of dealing with that, I used this on my socks and lower legs. Using white socks I could previously see the fleas jumping on when walking through the infested areas, and using the Repel, saw none, or if one did jump on, they quickly jumped off.
…I spray it around the perimeter of my yard and it keeps the bugs away perfectly.
Does a good job on mosquitos in yard work and for camping
Keeps the skeeters away and no Deet. Perfect.
…Used in normal situations such as back yard.
…Fishing, trail walking, and yard work…

I have used it that way, not sure if it helps but it is worth a try
It's worth a try, works on squirrels.
