dead eye

A blast....just a blast....wife thought I was crazy getting this up until the fly population disappeared...I now travel to neighbors yards in search of something to shoot!…

Great for adults, not for children...but fun for shooting invasive grasshoppers in your garden!

…I am going to have so much fun playing target practice with this salt gun on the giant grasshoppers in my yard next spring! I used to go around the yard with a fly swatter killing them but this will make it so much more fun!…

Has anyone already found a suitable carrying case? One that doesn't shout "I'm carrying around a toy gun"? Maybe a violin case?

That's a great question! I've never left my back yard with mine. A violin case would probably work.

Anyone killed Spiders in pool?

No I haven't, but if the opportunity arises I would try it. Have killed spiders on dry ground though. I enjoy going on safari in my back yard.

Fun fun fun

I brought this out at a BBQ in my back yard last week and it was a hit.…

Works like a dream!!

…Flies are not longer and as entertaining as a bug light in the back yard!

Works on ANY bug, even black widows!!!!

…He searches around the house looking for flys and now roams the yard and perimeter looking for ANY bugs.…

can you shoot at flies while flying?

You can, but you'd better be good at shooting clays! If you want to shoot them on the fly, I suggest the Bug-A-Salt Yard and Garden version. IT uses a little more salt per shot, and seems to have a wider dispersion pattern. I have taken flies and wasps whilst on the wing with that tool.

What's the youngest age this gun would be appropriate?

Great question. I never had kids, but I suspect they are maturing later than past generations due to over protectiveness of the current crop of parents. I bought my first shotgun at 9 years old from money I made doing yard work in my little town. I was responsible with it then, and decades later I remain responsible when handling my firearms.

Great in the Amazon and the back yard

Used in the Amazon in July (winter there). I came home without a single bite. I still use it in the backyard here in Va during the summer. Pleasant smell and not greasy.

Works great! Don't go in the yard without it!

Living in a wooded area the ticks, black flies and mosquitoes are always nearby. It's always difficult to work in my gardens without having to worry about ticks especially. I used this for the first time this past saturdays cutting back bushes and raking and had no ticks on me when the day was done. Nor was I bothered by black flies and it smells good too! I would highly recommend!

Smells pretty good, I would recommend around the patio or yard

I actually like the smell of this repellent and it even works on the patio. I would recommend something stronger if you're going to the lake or camping though.

NWC
Its body spray or room spray ?

It is body spray. I spray my legs when I go out to work in the yard.

Does it repel fleas?

Yes, in fact it does. We had a severe flea infestation in our yard this year, and while I was in the process of dealing with that, I used this on my socks and lower legs. Using white socks I could previously see the fleas jumping on when walking through the infested areas, and using the Repel, saw none, or if one did jump on, they quickly jumped off.

Great product!

…I spray it around the perimeter of my yard and it keeps the bugs away perfectly.

Not very costly and don’t have to use a lot

Does a good job on mosquitos in yard work and for camping

No bites on back patio of mosquito infested yard, without the chemicals!

Keeps the skeeters away and no Deet. Perfect.

Works great

…Used in normal situations such as back yard.

So Nice

…Fishing, trail walking, and yard work…

Easy to use and smells great.

I sprayed it in the house, garage and yard.…

Will this work outside under bushes? my golden retriever goes crazy searching for mice in the yard. they also get into the house.

I have used it that way, not sure if it helps but it is worth a try

Would this help keep feral cats out of my yard? They all use it as their litter box.

It's worth a try, works on squirrels.
