Fantastic product!

In planning our RV trip to Burning Man, we decided to invest in a Cleanwaste system to bring our bathroom experience to the next level. We knew we didn't want do #2 in the RV as a week's worth of dookies from six guys would stink up our precious sleeping space. The alternative was to use the provided porta-potties, but those were not close to camp and known to be mildly traumatic (thanks, desert heat). The Cleanwaste system came through - big time!

First off, the engineering is top notch. The privacy tent has a slick joint system that makes it easy to set up and tare down while providing super strength even in strong winds. The toilet seat folds out of a compact pizza box shape to create a throne capable of holding even large people (I'm 230 lbs). The disposable waste kits have a large bag that lines the toilet and a zip lock pouch that holds the waste bag when your done with your business. There's even a wet wipe and toilet paper included in the kit, but we had additional wet wipes and a big hand sanitizer dispenser so these didn't get used much. Then there's also the NASA-developed kitty-litter like powder that lines the bags and gels up liquid waste for easy handling. All these well conceived elements fit together into a back pack that makes it super easy to transport the system.

Then there's the experience this product creates - blissful relief! My buddy said that we should aim for "dumping with dignity", and the Cleanwaste system delivered exactly this. We could relieve ourselves with confidence and even dare I say joy. We felt like a million bucks coming out of the privacy tent.

There are two caveats to be aware of. First, the waste kits are not cheap at over $2 each off Amazon. I suspect you could use trash bags and kitty litter if you wanted to save some cash here, but, personally, I think the kits still deliver a good value proposition. Second, disposing of a bunch of used kits is not as easy as you might think. None of the people running dumpster services on our way back to Reno would accept our human waste, which led to humorous drop off of a duffle bag of dookie sacks at a buddy's house.

Even with these considerations, I fully recommend the Cleanwaste system! It was a major success with our crew, and the folks that designed the system should be mighty proud.

Nice concept, tent pretty good. Toilet made out of really cheap plastic, which is the main product. Arrived with toilet seat hinge broken. Contacted customer service directly at company to see if they could just replace broken part so I could keep it and use it for our trip, as we were loaded and heading to Lake Powell when it arrived. Customer service was useless and rude and just referred me to Amazon for return because I did not purchase it directly from them. System overpriced for the materials used. Guess they have great market share on this type of system, but that's not an excuse for poor quality. Two stars for design, NO stars for materials, workmanship and customer service!!!

Awesome for tailgating!

Bought this toilet system to use for tailgating at concerts because I usually spent most of my time in lines waiting to go to the bathroom. Best investment I've made in a long time. Toilet is sturdy. The waste bags need to be change often otherwise doesn't harden properly. May try to buy the powder stuff to see if that helps. The tent does tend to blow around easily. However fixed that with buying some weights and putting the heavy cooler on the edge. Would definitely recommend if you tailgate and spend your time waiting in bathroom lines.

Love to camp, hate to use public restrooms. This product has made my camping enjoyment complete. Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to clean up, and easy to break down and stow. My husband was not in favor of this purchase but is now a believer and user of the product. We went away with another couple to our cabin in the mountains only to find, when we got there, that the water pipes had frozen. The GO anywhere toilet salvaged the weekend (especially since none of us wanted to have to use the great outdoors in the snow and single digit temperatures).

Enclosure is crap!

I just got the system today but the enclosure is an absolute nightmare! I tried to set it up today just like the video showed but it seemed like it was inside out. I couldn't find the rope in the middle and it wouldn't come together at all and some of the poles won't even snap into place. And now I can't even break it back down into its original form to put it back into the bag to send it back. I looked for the tab to send a message to the seller and there was no such thing to send a message. The system itself seems fine but privacy enclosure is just not working right.

A well thought out product. Simple to setup, use , take down and stow. We used it on a weekend canoe trip with overnight camping. The girls much appreciated having this since the park only had pit toilets and they were quite a distance from the camp site. No smell from the bags either. The poo powder works well.

Unbelievably easy to set up and to be honest not sure why we didn't buy it sooner. To have your own toilet with you when you camp is makes a camping experience even greater. This toilet pays for itself at night when your kids need to go to the bathroom but might be too afraid to go in the bushes. We purchase this with the extra 'poo powder' and got 2-3 uses out of one bag. No smells and no mess! Great product!
