Word of advice and word of caution: keep the plastic tube-like covering on the metal pokey tool end when not in use. Its extremely sharp which is perfect to remove those very tiny bits but is even better when a starter hole is needed for brads and other embellishments.
The bristles fell out as I was using it. This was maybe the third time I used it. I haven't even owned it a week.
I'm bitterly disappointed in this...
The first and main reason is that the product name is a bit of a misnomer in my opinion. To me a tool in one should not require another tool in order for it to work effectively. Without the foam sheet - sold separately - this tool is relatively ineffective. Fortunately with a little experimenting with foam sheets I already owned I discovered that my Coluzzle foam sheet substituted admirably for the task.
The other issue I found is that many of my dies have tiny tiny holes that prove a challenge for this tool. However I admit that perhaps this problem may prove not to be an issue if I did purchase the foam sheet designed specifically for this tool.
All that being said I am very pleased with how much easier the tasks of cleaning my dies is using this tool and would recommend it to others. I, unlike other reviewers, found it easy to change tool parts and to store the extra parts inside the body of the tool.
The accessories that I have to buy extra were cheaply made as well, but I'll use them til they break. Cheap plastic over metal. Why?
