Color: Just Walk Away Renee Verified Purchase
I was excited to try Deborah Lippman polish, as she seems to have colors that no one else does. This was one of those colors - it's like Vamp only a little more red, and SO SATURATED in color. It is truly unique, hard to appreciate via an internet picture. However, the quality of her polish is only so-so. Quite frankly, I find that OPI and Sally Hansen have polishes that wear much longer (and I know how to prolong a manicure), which is disappointing considering how expensive Lippman products are. Perhaps having such super-saturated colors impacts the polish and makes it chip easily? I am glad I was able to purchase this product at a discount through Amazon's network of sellers. That being said, I would give this color six stars if I could.

Color: Girls Just Want To Have Fun Verified Purchase
I really like this polish and I had read about it in an article about brands that don't contain certain chemicals and are safer to use. This brand does not contain parabens, sulfates, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, DBP (dibutyl phthlate), or camphor, and are not tested on animals. I like to support brands that make beauty products safer and don't test on animals so, despite the price, I thought I'd give it a try. It still has a moderate chemical smell when applying and the consistency is on the thin side. I needed a minimum of 2 coats on my toes and will apply a 3rd coat in a week or so. It does go on smoothly and has great shine. The color, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, came out darker than I expected - I'm guessing because I had to use 2 coats. It's more of a tomato/orange than the coral, in the product picture. Still very pretty and versatile as I could wear this year-round. At this price, I won't stock up on a ton of colors so I'd recommend to others to invest in a few basics like neutral, bright and dark.

Color: My Old Flame Verified Purchase
This polish is the most classic shade of red out there, and I have unsuccessfully tried to find another! No one else makes a red such as this one. It is a true blue-red with no orange. It lasts on your nails for a long time. The only drawback is the price. No polish should be this expensive! However, this is my fourth bottle of it, and I will continue to buy it as long as she makes it. I just realized that I should probably tell you I am referring to the color "My Old Flame." I have tried a couple of her polishes besides this one, but this one takes the cake.

Color: Call Me Irresponsible Verified Purchase
Call Me Irresponsible is a beautiful color in the bottle. Unfortunately it is so sheer that even with three coats, it shows VNL. Application is very difficult because the product is incredibly runny and thin, so if it is not done perfectly, you can see the difference in color. This nail polish is such a red-purple, which is surprising, as it looks more like a blue purple to me. It looks like a 2 dollar polish on my nails. It is so disappointing because with such a high price point, it should be a fantastic lacquer. All of this is compounded by the fact that this nail polish is not possible to return to Amazon ("For safety reasons, items that are classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases cannot be returned to Amazon.com. Customers should dispose of hazardous materials according to Local, State and Federal regulations. Customers should contact their local government or local waste company for directions on how to dispose of Household Hazardous Waste."). What a waste of my time and money! I wish that these unreturnable items were better labelled by Amazon so that consumers would know to just buy them in person. I am extremely displeased with the Deborah Lippmann brand, this is my first polish from them and it is so AWFUL!

Color: Between The Sheets Verified Purchase
I love the vibrant color of this polish but wouldn't pay the price for it again. It chipped off like any of the cheaper brands do so I am not sure what the higher price is for. The name on the bottle? No thank you. Other brands are making this same color for a fraction on the cost.

Color: Girls Just Want To Have Fun Verified Purchase
This color is a vintage coral. It looks fresh and summery, and it is very flattering for my skin tone (pale Caucasian). It is the most expensive nail polish I ever bought, but it goes on so smoothly and looks so pretty, it might be worth it!

Color: Waking Up In Vegas
*****
Oh, do I love Deborah Lippmann nail polishes! They are so pricey and of amazingly good quality, and this one is no exception--I think it is worth it the price. This color--Waking Up In Vegas--is a matte putty color--a light grey with some subtle brown notes--and exactly what I was looking for. I had bought other greys over the years but they were all too dark--this one was not.

Like all Deborah Lippmann polishes, this nail polish does not streak, lasts forever, and makes your DIY manicure look like it comes from a fancy nail salon.

Highly recommended.

Color: Before He Cheats Verified Purchase
Deborah Lippmann polish is a tad bit costly but it's worth it. This color, Before He Cheats, goes on with just a hint of color - more than clear but not noticeably so. Two coats makes for a perfect, professional shine.
