Laura Beth was born in Queens, NY and is the second of six children. By the age of two, Laura Beth's parents moved to North Carolina to be near her mother's family. Laura Beth and her siblings grew up on the farm where her mother had been born and raised. Laura Beth loved roaming and playing all over the farm. Laura Beth graduated from Appalachian State University's Walker School of Business with a concentration in management.
Throughout her life, Laura Beth has enjoyed writing for her own personal enjoyment. At the age of fifty, Laura Beth and her son returned to North Carolina and spent time visiting the farm with her nephews and nieces. Watching these teens and listening to their questions about the farm gave Laura Beth a wonderful idea. Upon her return to her Florida home, her imagination took off and she began writing her exciting, family saga that takes readers on many magical and mysterious adventures on a farm very much like the farm etched in her memories.
Once Laura Beth completed her family saga, she began working on her newest book. She now adds her first children's picture book for pre-school children and their parents. With her creation of her adorable SeaCrittures, as she calls them, her family and friends began asking for one. Using her original five, Laura Beth put together a cute tale to share at a story hour. With excitement from her listeners, Laura Beth put together this cute story to share her tale of meeting, i.e. creating, her very first SeaCritture.
Laura Beth hopes you will enjoy her family saga and that you will enjoy the places she takes you as you travel through time and through her books. She also hopes you get a smile as you meet her SeaCrittures. She tells everyone there may be more in the works for her special SeaCrittures and there may be more books to come in the next few years.
