Jerrie never finds life dull. Working, writing, landscaping, creating model railroads, building projects on her large lot, reading, and restoring old equipment keep her well occupied. Though widowed, she still has reminders of her adventuresome life with her husband; such as the 85 foot Pullman passenger car she turned into a library. At this writing, she shares her home with four dogs, three cats, a pot-bellied pig, geese with attitude issues, and peacocks who like to show off. The numbers and types of critters is fluid since the furred and feathered creatures have discovered a soft touch where they can always find a safe harbor.
Jerrie still loves adventure and travel. She has a passion for history and she loves to explore and discover places. By envisioning how life was without all the comforts and benefits we have now and the people who still dared to dream, hope and create, she feels intimate with the past.
Using her less than normal path through life, Jerrie draws on her own experiences to create her stories. Please feel free to contact her with any thoughts. She always believes there is no such thing as a stranger, just friends she has not met yet.
