We discovered didi-seven at a state fair over 30 years ago. We use it today all the time. This stuff will take out almost any stain out of anything! Grass stains on knees? Wine on a rug or clothes? Coffee stains? Mascara on a rug? No problem! DiDi-seven has saved us a hundred times over the years. Yes, you have to be careful about colored clothes and you should rinse whatever you are cleaning very well. And the sooner you get to the stain the better. But I have gone after mascara stains on my daughter's bedroom rug and it works magic. Trust me, this is one of those products that should be in every home. After a hundred uses, I have learned some tips on using it. I take a small bowl and fill it with warm water. I wet the stain with water well (water activates it) and then wet my fingers and rub a small amount of DIDI-seven into the stain and spread it around. The stain disappears in seconds. Then I rinse whatever I am cleaning well with water. If it's a piece of clothing, I take it to the laundry room and rinse it under the faucet in the laundry tub so as to not leave a residue. It's just amazing. Just buy it and be happy...

Didi 7 really works. It got out an old grease stain that neither OxyClean nor Shout could take out. If the stain is organic based, it will come out. It also does not fade or bleach the fabric. It has saved many clothing items and carpets for me.
The negative to Didi 7 is that it is a solvent product - sodium dithionite I believe. I always use caution and wear rubber or vinyl gloves when using it. Read the directions before using.
Other than that, Didi 7 is a great stain remover. I have used this product for about 15 years, but have had problems finding it at the local stores. Thank goodness I found it online and got 2 tubes. I hope the company will continue to make this product.

I seldom write reviews for things I purchase from Amazon but once in a while I get floored by a product. I had a pair of pants I love that was only about 4 months old and stupidly was making eggs and bacon. Well suffice to say I had grease stains up an down the pants and they accidentally got thrown in the wash and dryer.
Well nothing worked, even trying a couple of leading stain removers on the dried up grease stain. So I purchased didi on a whim, well it has been awesome. Just dab a bit of didi all over the stain, let it sit for a few minutes and then look at the manual for the temperature water to soak the didi with. For grease stains I soaked the applied didi with hot water, just dab a bit and make sure the didi is completely dissolved. Let it dry overnight and the next morning you'll be back to new! Amazing product, never thought I'd get those stains out...don't throw out your ruined clothing, just didi it!

I first became of Didi 7 about twenty or more years ago when it enjoyed wide advertising campaign on TV commercials, an early version of the more modern longer infomercials. I was available in Wal*Mart and Kroger's locally. And it would take the stink out of you-know-what. But I think it's a different formulation now. It doesn't smell like I remember it smelling, and the packaging has changed, you get less for your buck. But it worked for what I bought it for, so I can't complain. I had spilled a bottle of black shoe polish on the brown carpet in my bedroom. It got it up. Took a little elbow grease, but it worked. I would recommend it for those difficult stains. You can even put it in your washer load with whites, it takes rather a lot if you use it that way, but it's not harmful to cloths, and you would be well advised to set your washer for extra rinse to make sure you get the smell out.

It doesn't seem to be as effective as it was years ago. I own a Laundromat and was excited when I found this. I used it a number of years ago on my own laundry. I don't know if it is a different formula or if it is the different fabrics now but I was disappointed in the way it works. I didn't take many of the stains out.

I managed to get hot pepper oil on a brand new pair of jeans. I immediately put some laundry detergent on it and hoped for the best. Nothing. I bought didi seven after reading the reviews. I remembered this stuff being popular back in the 70's. OMG! Usually stuff you see on TV NEVER works, but this stuff made the stain disappear! Just follow the directions. Yes, it STINKS like you wouldn't believe, but it does NOT leave an odor in the clothes at all. Before tossing a stained garment, give it a try, it just might work.

This stuff works great and it is a shame they don’t make it any more

i regularly use didi7. i dont think this is the real thing. with the original didi7 i dont have to rub endlessly to remove a stain. this one doesnt even remove the stain with excessive rubbing. it came with a little brush and a spray bottle which i have never seen before. those add ons are useless if the stain remover doesnt work. it also smelled much different than the original.
