This is a simple, easy to use budget app. You enter your Checking, Savings, etc. accounts and their current balance on the Accounts tab. I've deducted one star because you cannot rename the "<default>" account.

You enter income and expenses using the green plus/circle in the top right corner of the main screen. You can enter how often each occurs and exact amounts - with quite a lot of flexibility. You save your info using the icon in the top right corner. Your current balance shows in white, income in green and expenses in red. Clear and simple.

The settings tab lets you set a budgeting time frame, but only gives you three options - that limit also goes to my deduction of one star. On this screen you also can import from and export to another file.

The only permission this app requires is to write to your SD card.

This is not something I would have downloaded and tried had it not been the AotD here on Amazon. I don't find it to be a particularly useful app, and it does seem to be a bit of a battery hog. There are many other apps with greater functionality and flexibility out there... this one will sit in my Cloud unused.

I was looking for a quick tool to help with financial planning of income vs bills. I am recently retired and going through a transition. I find this tool very helpful in "looking ahead" and regularly scheduled charges over time.

It is simple but provides all the features I needed to easily accomplish this planning task.

It MIGHT be a coincidence that the day after installing this, and only this, that my battery life went from 36 hours to 12. It MIGHT be a coincidence that after removing it the battery will go for about 30 hours now. Either way, I never even used this because of the battery issues.

This app works fairly well from what I have used it so far. Downloaded it and put my budget in it without encountering any lack of features that keeps it form being 100% effective for me. It seems to lag a little on my Kindle Fire sometimes, and could be a little more user friendly in a couple areas, but neither of these issues is severe.

Other reviewers have pointed out that you can't get bi-weekly incomes. This isn't true. You simply need to select weekly, then go down to the drop menu and select odd or even weeks.

All-in-all, I think its a decent little budget app that does everything needed for my reasonably simple financial situation. This will save me from having to log into my back accounts every couple days to figure how much money I have.

I downloaded this app, which was not free, only to find out that it was not as easy to use as some of the reviews that I read stated it was. The way that you setup the information on the accounts is not user friendly. It seems to me that you should be able to input more information regarding the different accounts that you are able to pay off. Basically it would be nice to be able to input the minimum balance that is due, the interest rate(s) and it should be able to help you figure out a plan to pay off debt but taking care of the higher interest rates first. It should also be able to help budget income vs. debt. Maybe I a wrong, but I spent more time trying to figure out how to use the program than using the app for what it was advertised for. I concider myself to be fairly technologically literate, but this was frsutrating and a major bummer. Now I am back to handwritten lists, and lists, and more lists.

This app is incredibly simple. There is nothing complex to it at all which makes it odd that it costs over 99 cents.
I got this app for free on a special Amazon daily deal and that's the only reason I installed it.

EDIT: I deleted my previous review. This app is not smart. In fact, it's just plain dumb. It's almost as though it doesn't know what day it is. For example...
Pay is on the 31st for me, it adds in my paycheck, current balance is now at "9500" after my paycheck. But wait, my current balance today is only 8500... today's the first. It shows what the balance WILL BE on the 31st but it's already past the 31st. My daily spending budget is $8500... yeah that's smart. This app is nothing short of pathetic. I got it for free. Nobody should ever pay any amount of money for this app. The developer needs to trash the whole thing and start over.

Once you enter your $$ on hand in accounts and expected Income and expenses, you can see how much money you can save in 3 months, 6 months, or a year - depending on which setting you choose. You CAN enter pay dates every two weeks (using odd or even weeks). Being able to input all my expenses for a 6 month period, My known monies coming in and my expected earnings I can forecast relatively accurately how my budget will look week to week, if I am overspending, or how much I can save. It is simple, Private - a great little app. The Only thing I would recommend is the ability to export to an xls file.
