    Really sets the standard for what musical biographies should be. Full of facts, insights, and really surprising and fun details, the narrative is brisk and illuminating. I started listening to the Beasties from their beginning, and they are treated with class and critical discernment by this remarkable book-length profile. Props and highly recommended to pop music writing fans and scholars.
