The book is beautifully done, I got it as a gift for my husband who loves plants and crystals. I just wish it was more informative as to the crystal combinations and not so “Instagram” lifestyle focused. Would definitely recommend as a housewarming gift.

I recently got into plants but have been into crystals for over 10 years. A Very cute light read to refresh your brain after heavier-content books. Plus the art is adorable and very pretty.

Cosmic Botany by Tanya Lichtenstein is a wonderful guide that pairs plants and crystals together to maximize their spiritual potential and bring inner peace to your home.
“A house is not a home without plants … or crystals.”
The therapeutic effects of plants and gardening have been widely documented – benefits include boosting our mood, sharpening our focus and lowering our stress levels. Cultivating indoor plants can boost positive vibes and increase the flow of energy into space. They purify air, amplify the sense of well-being and rid you of stress, in the same way that healing crystals do.
Combining crystals with plants should be an obvious pairing, but I literally needed this book to tell me to do it. I love plants and crystals and have a wealth of both in my home so it was super easy to find some good combos. I was able to pair Amazonite with my String-of-Pearls, Pyrite with my Pothos, and Quartz with my Monstera, just for starters! There are some obscure crystals I will have hunt down for some specific pairings I want to try (looking at you, Your Order Has Been Shipped)! The pairings are given the cutests names, hinting at the spiritual benefits reaped from each crystal+plant combo.
For example, my Amazonite String-of-Pearls combo is dubbed ‘Worry Detox’: the carefree waterfall of pearls cleanses and aligns with the detoxifying nature of amazonite to help you wash your worries away. This
Pothos and Pyrite create ‘Abundance Hero’: the humble and dependable pothos meets with the charged bounty of pyrite’s energy to create an energetic and abundant vibrational center.
There are so many great pairings I want to try, and I am so happy for this introductin to Cosmic Botany! Thank you to Tarcher Perigree for sending me an Advance Reading Copy of these titles. All opinions are my own.

As I am new to the topic of pairing crystals and plants and know nothing of crystals, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Cosmic Botany. I was so pleased to find that the book is a very interesting, enjoyable read. It can help both the beginner as well as someone more experienced with crystals find all one needs to know to get started and how to pair them well with plants. The book introduced me to so many new plants as well, so even if a person isn’t interested specifically in crystals, the information on the plants themselves is also very helpful.
Probably what I liked most about this book is just what a fun and laid-back read it is. The illustrations are truly beautiful and the book just has a feeling of lightness, joy, and ease to it. It’s like a cool glass of pink lemonade on a hot summer day! I love that I can pick the book up anytime I need a little break from a stressful day and find myself smiling after reading a few of the short, flowing chapters. Truly, it was exactly what I needed for a nice escape here and there and definitely exceeded my expectations overall.
Well done!

This book is very nice, great illustration, a non traditional book.
I expected to find in it also common plants, like orchids that instead are not mentioned.
And I'm perplexed about one stone mentioned, rainbow aura quartz is not a natural stone, it's man-made, as such has no particular property and I don't understand how it can be to any use to any plant.
