I have had this commentary for 1.25 years. Although it is older than my other commentaries, I have found it to have more in-depth explanations to scripture passages that many modern commentaries brush off. It is not my primary, but it is in the top 5 of my go-to commentaries. In addition, I think it does a great job, considering it is a one-volume compilation.

This reference book was received as promised. The seller was correct in his description and I'm happy to add the book to my collection. Domestic use of DHL is a poor choice these days because they no longer serve the U.S. market. Delivery time is lengthened when all domestic packages get routed to Kentucky where they are passed to the USPS. The tracking trail stops and you cross your fingers that your package will be dropped on your doorstep at some point by your postman .

Very detailed but clearly from a prove it to me before I believe it view. Frankly, I much prefer the view that God said it and I have prayed for Him to help me to understand it and use it. So, I am in a receiving mode to begin with instead of a cautions and slow to believe view. Yes, I think questions are crucial and I ask loads of them. Also, the Jewish method of teaching centers asking good and directed questions. So, yes I am reading this commentary but I greatly prefer my other two commentaries.

The book is very thick, but the writing is small, like in a Bible or dictionary. However, the paper is very sturdy and not easily torn. There are also some great pictures. My purchase was a used library copy with the dust jacket still intact. It is still very usable with no tears, missing pages, or turned corners.

Was super excited to receive this commentary. Scripturally it is not as deep as I had thought it would have been, much like comments you would find within a study bible. The plus side is that the Apocrypha is included and the historical tidbits toward the end. In any case it is a decent study guide for the price and the condition was pretty good too.
