I have always been fascinated by the Horten legend and the amazing flying wings they created..It's amazing how ahead of their time these two brothers were and it's even more amazing the influence their ideas have had on aircraft of today.
There's such a wealth of imformation within these pages..There are as another reviewer stated a few errors and typing mistakes,but I think if you plough on regardless and overlook the obvious errors you will enjoy this book immensely..I would be surprised if anyone anywhere has much more access to the imformation Mr Myhra has..I could be wrong,but I can't see it. If you have an interest in the Horten Brothers you will certainly enjoy this book.

Der Band enthält eigentlich nur die Aufzeichnungen einiger rel. unkritischer Interviews mit v.a am Bau beteiligter Personen durch den Autor, nicht selten mittels Antworten schon vorwegnehmender Fragen. Wesentliches zu Entwicklung und Bau v.a. Abläufen, Erprobungen erfährt man hier nicht.
Der Band "lebt" v.a. von viele, viele Bildersssen.
V.a. die erhoffte kritische Auseinandersetzung mit den Absturzursachen des Testfluges vom 18. Februar 1945 findet nicht statt. ... leider nur anekdotenhafte Kommentare der Befragten.

Wie auch der zweite Band durch seine Hochglanzpapier-Aufmachung eher etwas zum "Herumzeigen".
