This book was easy to read and I read how my own philosophies ...
It was my privilege to meet the author, Mary J. Ruwart who gave me her own copy. Her passion is so rewarding. This book was easy to read and I read how my own philosophies were confirmed. We are closer to our world being healed with wonderful friends like Mary. Thank you. xoxo Tilly.

This is a great introduction to the ideas that drive libertarians everywhere. The ideas are compelling and the examples Dr. Ruwart provides are excellent and well documented. Highly recommended.

Becoming increasingly doubtful about our government's way of managing challenges I withdrew my participation. I felt guilty about doing that. I have wondered about libertarianism (word?) but thought I was being "realistic" in assessing that there was little chance of making a difference by promoting those thoughts. This book is invaluable to me in articulating (and backing up with data) what I have experienced in our country. It gives me hope that there is a way to address the problems of our country in a way that works for all while allowing true freedom and independence. More importantly for me, this book presents something that reflects my knowledge, values and experience, and therefore a way to once again participate in supporting our country in a meaningful way. I highly recommend this book and hope it will be read my many.

The most boring textbooks imaginable (ask any high school teacher) are Econ and Govt. My students actually like this book and learn a lot of important stuff about how the world works.

An easy to read book that explains Libertarianism and why it is the best governance system for modern democracies. Well written, intended for the educated layperson, and filled with good examples.
