Wired for Healing; Remapping the Brain to Recover from Chronic and Mysterious Illnesses, is Hopper's account of the innovative science behind DNRS and sheds light on how trauma causes the brain to disorganize neural circuits. Hopper also shares her personal recovery story as well as triumphant stories of recovery from people who have been liberated from chronic and mysterious illnesses through remapping the brain.
The book is not a replacement for the Dynamic Neural Retraining System™ DVD program or the In-person program.

Annie Hopper's program, which addresses the limbic system engrained memory aspect of Multiple Chemical Sensitivity and many other conditions, is the only way I have found for some patients to get out of their illnesses. Physical treatment is often just not enough. There are now patients I won't even begin to treat until they go through her program. --Dr. William Shrader, MD, Environmental Medicine, Santa Fe, NM
Annie Hopper understands that in order for our brains to cope with the world, the feeling - thinking - integrating - and - doing - circuits need to talk to each other. Annie Hopper understands these principles, and, as her work demonstrates, is able to use these in a practical and sensible manner, in a way that resonates. Her work enables our brains to become more efficient communicators, not only with ourselves but with the world around us. Read this book! --Dr. Les Koopowitz, MBBCh, FFPsych (SA), Clinical Associate Professor in Psychiatry, University of Adelaide, Practising in Neuropsychiatry

I am currently taking the course and very pleased with the results. Stop discouraging people with negative reviews! If you took the course and didn’t get results, that is one thing. But just saying the book is an infomercial is missing the point.
DNRS really works and it is worth the small investment of money. Most of us have spent the same amount on one doctors’ appointment that it costs to take this course. I myself have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on techniques that don’t work. It is really a relief to find something that does work and to realize it it has been my limbic system that is the culprit all along.
People typically leave bad reviews for the upmost foolish reasons. From what I've seen here, most are upset because the book does not exactly tell you step by step what to do in order to recover from a variety of mysterious illnesses. What they're failing to realize is that's simply NOT what this book is for. The program itself, DNRS, provides EXACTLY that. The book is simply an extension of the program. It provided the author's story, how the program was founded, in debt information on limbic system impairment, and more. Providing a bad review for these reasons is NOT valid whatsoever.
I personally have been suffering from Dysautonomia for 8 months now. Every-since I participated in the DNRS program itself, and read this book, my symptom have begun to fade for the first time EVER! Now that's a FACT. Do NOT be influenced by these disappointing reviews.

In fact the book was so annoying, unhelpful and a waste of time that it has made me wary of purchasing her course. I doubt that I will.
