Beautifully illustrated and basically it offers a handful of provocative ideas to anyone interested in ancient Egypt symbolism. To summarise the authors believe the waterlily to be the basis of a large chunk of the symbolism present in headdresses, funerary masks, etc. In addition they examine the origins of the headdress symbology and also seth/horus myth. I don't want to ruin it for anyone(!) but I just recommend if you are interested in hieroglyphs and want to examine many of the images you have seen from this part of the world it will raise many interesting questions.
