Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with this product. I was expecting a good theoretical explanation of partial moments. However, what I got, is an expensive book that is very hard to read due to the lack of consistency and details given by the authors. The book was clearly not revised by any editor, the font and the nomenclature is not consistent from chapter to chapter. Occasionally, the author is sending the reader interested in demonstrations to papers from the same authors (by the way, I have checked the papers and they do not show the demonstrations either), making the purpose of buying the book redundant. Different Chapters not only show again and again the same introductory math, without any pedagogical logic, but also the plot styling differs, for some chapters they have used R and in others Excel.
All in all, I would not recommend this book to any person interested in learning about partial moments, just go online and search for it, you will find the same and even better material for free.
