My 7 year old son recently borrowed this non-fiction book from his school library.

The book describes, what clown fish are, what they look like, how they swim, where they live, and how they protect themselves. Each page has a colorful picture to go along with the information.

My son did need some help with a few of the words, but most of the text is easy and has large print. My son enjoyed this book.

This book is a wonderful introduction to what children everywhere will enthusiastically call a "Nemo." The anemone-loving clown fish is a truly fascinating creature, and it is brought to life in vivid color in this straightforward, informative picture book for very young readers. Simple facts and descriptions will hold a child's interest as you flip through the pages over and over. Even as a grownup reading this book with young children, I learned intriguing facts about this fish that I would not have guessed. The photos are in eyepopping full color ... clown fish and sea anemones alike. Fantastic children's book on a topic that's been lacking until now on the library shelves!
