Rayne Lacko writes about emotions, creativity, and the healing power of music in Dream Up Now: The Teen Journal for Creative Self-Discovery, and the YA novels, The Secret Song of Shelby Rey (Coming June 2025), and A Song For The Road, an Eric Hoffer Book Award finalist. A social-emotional learning specialist with a master's in humanities, she lectures on writing and literature, advocates for social justice, and travels for inspiration. Rayne's short stories and poetry have appeared in international publications and anthologies. She lives on a forested island in Washington, US, where the trees whisper story ideas.

Lesley Holmes is an enthusiastic professional, with health care, non-profit and entrepreneurial business experience. Holmes has spent years in the non-profit sector assisting children learn and heal through alternative therapies and music education. She has spent over a decade as a patient advocate in the health care field assisting seniors and educating family members about transitioning into assisted living communities. An in the most recent 2 years she has assisted and started businesses from inception to running at successful levels. Ms. Holmes maintains loose philanthropic ties to the non-profit charity that she founded for the children at Gardner Street School where she created and opened the Michael Jackson Music Education Lab. Holmes also organized community wide events to celebrate the School’s 100 year anniversary and promote various arts, music, community and educational projects. Holmes specializes in community outreach and building relationships with community leaders, to better the lives of children.

Ms. Holmes is a graduate of University of Southern California (BS Gerontology) and is also a licensed RCFE administrator. She has used music and art to help customize activity programs for older adults in residential facilities suffering from various types and degrees of dementia. She is the current Director of Development for Age Inclusion in Media, a non-profit that champions age inclusion across media and entertainment through programs that support craft, career, and growth. She is the founder of Friends of Gardner a 501(c)(3) organization in Hollywood and a mother of two very musical girls. Ms. Holmes is an active member of her community by serving on the board of directors of her neighborhood association and chairing several committees. Ms. Holmes is a lifelong chef and baker and enjoys swimming, early morning hikes in the Hollywood hills with her dog.
