To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, Disney historian Jim Korkis, who has written five previous books on WDW, takes a nostalgic look at the dozens and dozens of things that have disappeared at the vacation destination over the decades.

SPECIAL BOOK ON WALT DISNEY WORLD ATTRACTIONS THAT HAVE DISAPPEARED!

I admit that I am much more knowledgeable about Disneyland that I am about Walt Disney World. I've visited Disneyland many more times that I have Walt Disney World. So, I never saw some of the attractions Jim Korkis writes about in this book and others I never even knew existed at all. Amazon's option of LOOK INSIDE gives the reader an excellent contents guide to the attractions that Jim Korkis explores. I found the info on each EXTINCT attraction to be interesting, informative, and often amusing. I've always felt the sad feeling of loss when a favorite Disneyland or Walt Disney World attraction disappears, but this book (and Jim's 2019 one on Extinct Disneyland) helps me remember the joy I felt experiencing those various attractions when they existed and I was able to enjoy them. ANYONE INTERESTED IN WALT DISNEY WORLD should enjoy this book IMMENSELY. Jim Korkis had done yet another outstanding writing job on the info on all these extinct attractions. This is a book that I will refer to often in the years to come. A VERY SPECIAL BOOK!
