I loved this book. Truth is often hard to find in the world, and here you have it--concisely and to the point. For many women, feminism has been a
sham. Its dictates have steered many young women in the wrong direction. They are trying to live "you can have it all" lives, and are exhausted and miserable. There is nothing wrong with wanting a family, and loving husband and a satisfying life as a stay-at-home mom. A lot of men and
women need to re-learn that this is still possible, and is an admirable ambition.

My sister_in-law likes the book. At first she thought it was a self-help book, butthen after she dived into it, she thought it was well worth the read. She is 22 and said that a lot that is discussed, she has seen happen with her friends, or has experienced personally.

I will preface this by saying I am a fan of Suzanne Venker. I read The Flipside of Feminism a while ago and agreed with most of that work.
I found How to Choose a Husband a profound book, well written and full of home truths. My only complaint is that she wrote it too late for me. I wish I would have read this work when I was a freshman in college, instead I was steeped in feminist rhetoric and "planned my career" but not my life. I will buy copies of this for each of my daughters. Women need to recognize that there is not always more time for children and family. There were parts of this book that spoke to me so strongly that I was actually crying. Some sections leapt off the page, I so strongly identified with them. I highly recommend this book.
