**Each book of the Bewitched and Bewildered series features a different couple finding love along with their very own happy ending and can technically be read as a standalone. However, there is an underlying interconnected conflict that plays a major part in all the books and for that reason, I highly recommend reading the books sequentially.

This is my third time reading the work of Alanea Alder and I'm officially hooked! OMG, Alder's books are like potato chips; you can't stop with just one! lol... I love unique paranormal romance, addicted to danger, action, adventure & suspense, completely smitten with sexy, alpha heroes, adore sassy, courageous heroines, and there's nothing I enjoy more than a few few-bending plot twists and an infusion of laugh-out-loud humor, but when I can get it all in one well-crafted and beautifully written book, I'm in absolute heaven! And that's exactly what Alanea Alder delivered - AGAIN - in My Healer, the third full-length paranormal romance in her captivating and highly imaginative Bewitched & Bewildered Series. Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adult readers since it does contain explicit language, some violence, and steamy, dreamy sex. Will I read this author again? Absolutely which is probably the best recommendation I can give! As a matter of fact, after completing the first book of this series, I raced back to Amazon and purchased the remaining nine books, which speaks volumes as to how much I enjoyed this author's work! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! I was glued to my chair, white-knuckling my ereader, my heart fluttering wildly in my chest as the pages flew as quickly as the pages! I fell in love with handsome, loyal, and always charming wolf shifter Colton, and the lovely, kindhearted, dedicated human doctor Rheia and her adopted shifter daughter Penny truly captured my heart! Oh my, this story just ripped my heart out of my chest! I snickered, snorted, sniffled, snuffled, chuckled, and outright ugly cried through the entire story! But never fear, Colton, Rheia, and Penny do get their happy ending! But just a little warning, folks, don't start this book unless you have plenty of time; you will not want to stop until you reach the last page. I should know; I stayed up all night because I couldn't stop reading! lol... If you enjoy perilous danger, intense drama, agonizing angst, pulse-pounding action, nail-biting suspense, side-splitting humor, heartwarming romance, and a few mind-blowing plot twists that you'll never see coming, then this book is screaming your name. Once again, I love this series. We’re back for book three, which has Colton getting his mate. I loved Colton in both book one and book two. He’s sweet and fun and he’s also really protective but in this great non-overbearing way. It’s so easy to remember him curling up as a wolf and sleeping next to Meryn to make her feel better, or how when Gavriel was preventing anyone from helping Beth after an accident, Colton was willing to put himself in danger to help Beth. He’s just a great guy, so of course I was excited for him to get a mate.
Honestly, the best part of this book is hands down Penny, and the second best part is Penny and Colton together. When Rheia shows up and it turns out she is both a human and has an adopted shifter daughter, it’s really not what anyone expected. But Penny is easily the greatest kid ever. Sure, she’s been traumatized so she’s basically non verbal, but she’s got such personality. I loved seeing her out there with the units and helping them train. She’s even better when she’s hustling the guys at poker. But seeing her with Colton is what takes the cake. Colton accepts her from the second he sees her, and Penny is almost as quick. They have the greatest, sweetest relationship, and you know Colton is gonna be the best dad.
Rheia is not my favorite mate. She’s really reluctant, which is understood, but she basically has five adopted paranormal brothers so in so surprised at how weary she is. She’s a surgeon, and she helps out medically in this book and honestly that’s when she is in her element. Overall, in this particular book, I could take her or leave her.
The plot does really start coming together in this book, we’ve got way more information, but it’s really only led to more questions, but now is where we figure out what is really going on. Darian is up next and it’s easily a favorite for me.

Also, if this is a book in a series, under "Characters," you'll most likely find a fu-bo list. While reading, authors tend to introduce us to numerous characters and I find I wonder if they will get their own book, so I decided to include this in my review. I will try not to include "SPOILERS" if there are any. And now to my review:

General Synopsis:
This is the third book in Alanea Alder's [Bewitched and Bewildered] series, focusing on the romance between Rheia Bradley, a human and Colton Albright, a wolf shifter in Lycaonia's paranormal Unit. Rheia is also the adopted mother to Penny Carmichael, a four-year old shifter, who quickly wins over the hearts of ever Unit member in Lycaonia.

Personal Opinion:
As mentioned in a previous review, these books keep getting better & better! Several new pieces introduced to the mystery/puzzle that is weaving through the series and I love it. I still have my suspicions, but again they might be SPOILERS, so I will not share here. We are introduced to the Vanguard, which are inactive out Unit members who blend into human cities to protect paranormals & humans. Rheia's "brothers" are members of one such team: Radek Carson, Levi Sorrel, Marco Rodriguez, Dax Vi'Eaereson and Athan Durant. Also, there is a surprising twist in the epilogue, although I don't want you to look at the back of the book before reading!

I love reading and paranormal romance is a favourite of mine. I know that ratings matter to authors but I find it hard to put into words exactly how a book makes me feel, but for this series I will try.

Meryn is the hero of the books, she is a human, speaks geek, a hacker, anti-social but loveable. Aiden is a warrior, a bear shifter. Their love is amazing.

Each book concentrates on a new mating but all of the books are intertwined and the characters are brilliant - I love them all. They are loving, funny, sexy, caring, snarly, crazy and I'll say it again, loveable.

It is primarily MF romance but there are a couple of MM but they are so sweet they make you want to hug them, laugh and cry with them.

Every time a new book comes out I re-read the series and buy them each and every time. I do read a lot of books on KU but there are some that are keepers and these books are it.

I'm going to cut and paste this review to each of the books as I hate repeating myself in a review and I'm only going to say the exact thing for each of the books.

Read them, you won't be disappointed.

The story continues in book three of the Bewitched and Bewildered series by Alanea Alder. Colton has been dreaming of his mate as Rhea his mate had dreamt of him. She leaves her childhood home and her adopted brother who provide part of the vanguard outside the city's and she goes to the paranormal city. Colton when he sees her realises she's his mate and she has an additive daughter she has had for a year. Things get worse with the ferals as they start to put the puzzle pieces together. Someone's life is hanging in the balance and a surprise news from a mate makes life better. This was a great book like the first 2 with me laughing so much at Meryn and the things she does and the words that come out of her mouth. It was well written and I can't wait to read the next in the series.

Oh my days this book was just awesome. I loved it. The characters are just the best. Colton Albright is part of the Alpha Unit members and all round jokester is mate to Rheia Bradley, a human and resident doctor along side Adam in Lycaonia. Little Penelope Carmichael who is a shifter and also Rheia's daughter is absolutely adorable, she just sucks you in. This is Colton, Rheia and Penny's story and how they end up together as a family after going through hell and anguish. This book has everything, action, humor, sorrow and definately hot alpha males. The dialogue between all the characters and phrasing of words is awesome and they all interact perfectly. This series has so much potential and I just want to tell Alanea to write faster.
I encourage you to read it and I can't wait till the next book!!!

Ok, I love this series, seriously love love love these books.
I thought they couldn't get any better or make me laugh any more but I was wrong. Meryn is my favourite but now Penny is close behind.
I'm so glad that we got Colton's story as I've loved him since book 1, My Commander. I always love a cheeky chappie with a twinkle in his eye.
I'm jumping straight in to reading the next book as I really want to find out what Darian's mate will add to this rag taggle group of people who make me laugh and wish I was a part of their group.
Be warned this book will make you laugh out loud and if reading in public you may get some strange looks, but who cares cos trust me, it's worth it.
