How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

...I'm the astronomy editor of the Old Farmers Almanac and one other national magazine. I need hard data about things like Saturn's opposition date in 2032 and what size its disk will then be. It's in here. But why are you reading this? Will you spend $140 as I did, for a hardcover whose every page is tables and data, especially when Amazon says I got the last copy?

Great reference book for someone interested in planetary movements and sky phenomena.

This is a most excellent resource for lunar and planetary events, both past and future. I have been regularly consulting it for many years; in fact I've owned all three editions beginning with the one from 1983. Each edition has updated the data to later years. The section on lunar occultations is especially invaluable for those seeking to predict local conditions.
I own seven books (not counting earlier editions) by Meeus. All are significant contributions to my astronomical library. Meeus is the master of celestial mechanics. I've had several email discussions with the Belgian native French speaker, and am always amazed by his expertise in written English. He tells me that he has no problem with scientific journals written in English, but the idioms in English language newspapers often mystify him. Anyone interested in astronomy and the movements of celestial objects will greatly appreciate any book by Jean Meeus.
