About the author

Scott King—poet, translator, and naturalist—is the founder and editor of Red Dragonfly Press. He is a lifetime resident of Minnesota (born in Bemidji, grew up in Pelican Rapids, attended college in Duluth and Minneapolis, currently resides in Northfield), author of several books of poetry, and translator of books by Greek poet Yannis Ritsos and Persian poet Fereydoun Faryad. In recent years he has begun writing natural history, publishing several volumes of field notes about dragonflies, authoring a blog entitled Of Books and Bugs.
