Product Description

Amazon.com

You own a plot of good farmland. Do you want a small family farm or an agricultural profit center? Do you want to produce food for the local town or feed the world's hungry masses? Do you use the latest chemical fertilizers and pesticides or run an organic farm? It's up to you. Plow your fields, sow your seeds, harvest your crops, and sell them at market. Easy? Sure, except for soil depletion, crop rotation, changing markets, and diminishing farmland--not to mention pests, droughts, dust storms, and other hazards.

Came in original packaging. I love this old game.

very, very addictive, kind of reminds me of jezzball and fishy from ebaumsworld. i would say that a twenty dollar game that you can easily spend several hours playing is a good investment.

I played this game a lot growing up and although I haven't played it in a long time, I do remember it being about 300 times more awesome than FARMVILLE (Facebook's version of this game).

If you like Farmville, you'd like this better. :)

I hate the fact that as you progress with computers, your software programs don't go along with you. This game was three computers ago. I now have a mac and hardly anything goes on the Mac

My friend lent me this game knowing that I have an interest in--but almost no practical knowledge of--farming, and I was totally overjoyed that such a game exists. But I'm the type of person who prefers to sit down and just start playing the game. For some reason, however, I just can't figure it out. Besides that, the game is obviously intended to be "simple fun" kind of entertainment. I'd prefer something more technical where a person can try their luck at really managing a farm. I'm not a big computer game person, so if such a game exists, I really don't know; but my guess is that I'm one of very few people who would like to play such a game, and therefore doesn't.

I just bought the game 2 days ago and I can't stop playing it! I admit, the graphics are a little bad but that is probably because it was MADE IN 1993 and that was what was considered good back then. You can grow a variety of crops and then kill off stuff for them. I was playing it with my dad and he took it way too seriously. It is a good game for the couch poatato farmer. PS-It doesn't come with instructions, but you can figure the controls out easily.
