I often had my old min-iMaglite fall out of the open top pouch. (Indeed, I have no idea where the old mini-Maglite went.)

When I first received it, I was disappointed this it seemed only to fit a very wide belt: pulling up on the cover caused it to rotate around the belt. But I discovered that on the belt side there is a Velcro piece that can be tightened for belt size. Very nice.

MiniMaglite won't fit in this holster. The bottom of holster is sealed, which would be great if the holster flap was long enough to accommodate the flashlight. Unfortunately, the Velcro hook portion of the flap does not reach the loop patch on the holster, making it impossible to close the flap. The holsters purchased previously, look identical except that the bottom is open, allowing the flashlight to stick out of the bottom, which allows the Velcro patch on the flap to mate with the patch on the holster. Glaring design flaw.
