I got this new one after my old and faithful silver colored Maglite was stuck with a leaked battery. The battery lasted me a long time, and I kept it in my car, which is probably why it leaked. But anyways, got a black one because it was a cheaper option (although I wish I got the silver one again). It works well, fully serving its purpose.
